About Me

I am Elif Yozkan, a psychologist (M.Sc.) driven by inquisitiveness about the human mind and committed to exploring the questions that help people uncover their own insights to navigate complex emotional landscapes. In my work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, intense emotions, and questions of identity, I combine a solid foundation in the neurological basis of psychological disorders with practical, evidence-based approaches to provide support that is both informed and attuned to each person’s unique context. I aim to create a space where clients can explore their inner world, test possibilities, and take meaningful steps toward understanding and growth.

With my multilingual abilities and cross-cultural sensitivity, shaped by living and working across different contexts, I bring a perspective that is particularly helpful for people navigating complex, layered life realities. For me, this work is not just a profession but a journey into the depths of human experience, where each session is an opportunity to accompany someone in discovering their own path.

Core Competences include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Neurological Basis of Psychological Disorders
  • Cross-cultural Counseling
  • Client Assessment and Treatment Planning
  • Pharmacological Knowledge
  • Ethical Practice and Confidentiality

How I Provide Support

I integrate neuropsychological knowledge with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to provide evidence-informed guidance tailored to each individual. My approach involves structured assessment, identifying cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns, and collaboratively developing strategies to address challenges such as depression, anxiety, and stress-related issues.

I emphasize exploration and curiosity, creating a safe space for clients to engage with their experiences, reflect on patterns, and discover personalized pathways for growth and resilience. Sessions can be conducted online or in person, depending on client preference.
